WinDerby Body Blocks...

All bodies on this page are 7" long and 1-3/4" wide. These dimensions are the same as the stock Scout Grand Prix bodies

The three holes are drilled at the rear for inserting Lead Wire, Tungsten and WuttyTM to weight the car to the 5 oz.maximum. LONG WHEELBASE AND REAR WEIGHTED CARS GO FASTER.

DRILLED STOCK WHEELBASE (DSW)

Some local rules do not allow the use of the long wheelbase - you must use the stock wheelbase length. These bodies have #44 axle holes drilled at the stock wheelbase locations and three holes in the appropriate locations for Lead or Tungsten. Both bodies meet the Scout specifications for length and width. DXW, of course, stands for Drilled Stock Wheelbase. Please note that these bodies have NO slots. If your rules require slots, see SLOTTED STOCK WHEELBASE below.

The wedge shape makes a faster car and minimizes the finish time. Just a light sanding and your favorite paint and you'll be ready to cross the finish line in no time.TOP

SLOTTED STOCK WHEELBASE (SSW)

If your local rules require the use of slots in the stock location, then this body is for you. It replicates the Scout Grand Prix body. Slots are in the stock locations and accurately cut on a table saw. The three holes drilled in the appropriate locations for Lead or Tungsten. SSW, of course, stands for Slotted Stock Wheelbase. TOP

The SLIM SSW has the same stock slotted wheelbase as the H51 and is cut down to the fast wedge shape for you. Finish fast for a fast finish! TOP
